Ropac is a company specializing in work at height. We have over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and hold the highest-level IRATA certification. We operate throughout Finland, with our headquarters in Oulu.
Who are we?
Rope Access Finland Oy is a specialist in work at height and demanding rope-access services. The company was founded in 2021, but our operational roots go back to 2014, when the services were offered as part of Kiipeilykeskus Oulu. Over the years we have completed hundreds of projects in wind power, industry, properties and housing companies, telecommunications and infrastructure.
Our expertise is based on more than 20 years of construction experience, modern rope-access methods and continuous professional development. We combine technical expertise, safe working and efficient methods to provide cost-effective solutions even for the most challenging sites.

We specialise in sites where conventional working methods, MEWPs or scaffolding are impractical or not cost-effective. We work safely and efficiently on roofs, façades, towers, masts, industrial plants, bridges and wind turbines using rope-access techniques.

Our services include installations, inspections, condition assessments, maintenance and repairs, façade and window cleaning, snow removal, painting, and the design, installation and inspection of fall-protection solutions. We also provide expert services for demanding work-at-height sites and sell high-quality professional equipment. We are a Petzl Technical Partner, an official manufacturer-appointed partner and specialist in fall-protection solutions.

Certificates and safety

Our personnel train regularly, and we use modern methods, inspected equipment and documented safety processes to minimise risk for employees, customers and the environment.
Wind-turbine manufacturer training
Safety requirements in wind power are particularly high, so manufacturer-specific training is an important part of professional work. Our personnel have the required training and qualifications to work on turbines from manufacturers including:

- Nordex
Manufacturer-specific training ensures familiarity with equipment structures, safety systems, work processes, maintenance and rescue procedures.
We continuously invest in competence and safety culture and actively share knowledge, experience and best practices with personnel and partners.

IRATA-level expertise
IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) is an internationally respected rope-access safety and training system whose standards are followed worldwide in industry, energy and construction.
Our company has several rope-access professionals holding the highest operational IRATA Level 3 qualification. This enables safe execution of demanding projects and reinforces our position as an experienced specialist.
Certified fall-protection systems
We are qualified to carry out certified inspections, maintenance and repairs of Hailo, Avanti, PowerClimber, Jaso and 3M fall-protection equipment in accordance with manufacturer requirements. The condition of ladders and climbing systems is essential to safe work at height, especially in wind turbines, masts and other high structures.
