Certified GWO training and safety training for work at height.

Safe work at height requires the right competence, appropriate methods and suitable equipment. Without adequate training, work in fall-risk environments can create significant risks for both employees and employers. We offer a broad range of training designed to develop safety competence, improve practical readiness and support safe work in all conditions.
Our training is suitable for professionals in construction, industry, energy, wind power and property maintenance. Courses cover the fundamentals of safe working, correct use of fall-protection equipment, equipment inspection and action in emergency and rescue situations. Our goal is to ensure that workers can use their equipment correctly, identify workplace risks and apply the required safety procedures.
We provide certified and audited GWO training for wind-industry professionals at our training centre in Oulu in cooperation with Caverion. The training serves wind-power companies, technicians and maintenance personnel who need internationally recognised safety qualifications.
Courses include:
The WaH module forms part of GWO BST (Basic Safety Training), which provides the foundation for safe work in the wind industry. BST covers key safety modules that teach workers to identify risks, prevent accidents and respond correctly in emergencies. Further information: Caverion GWO training.
Work at height always involves a risk of fall, making appropriate training essential. We train construction, industrial and energy-sector employees to work safely where fall protection is used or work is performed above ground level.
Training covers:
Courses can be delivered at the customer’s premises or at our Oulu training centre.
We also offer practical work at height training for companies and organisations that need the skills to work safely at height or carry out self-rescue. The training covers the fundamentals of working at height, the use of equipment and safe working practices in a variety of work environments.
The training is particularly suitable for people working on masts, towers, bridges and roofs, in industrial facilities or at other demanding sites. Courses can be tailored to the customer’s needs, with practical exercises designed to reflect real working situations as closely as possible.
IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) is an internationally recognised rope-access training system. IRATA training provides comprehensive skills for professional rope access in industry, construction, energy and infrastructure.
It is known for high safety requirements and practical training, developing technical skills, safety competence and rescue capability. We also train and consult companies on rope-access safety arrangements and implementation of rope-access methods.
Training leading to an actual IRATA qualification is available through providers listed at irata.org.
In fall-risk environments, rescue competence is as important as the work itself. A rescue plan must be more than a document: its procedures must be practised.
Our exercises cover realistic rescue scenarios, including:
Regular practice improves readiness to act quickly and correctly when every minute matters.
Whether it’s GWO training, work-at-height training or a rescue exercise at hand, our objective is the same: practical competence that improves safety and work quality. Our experienced trainers combine field experience with current safety requirements to maximise the benefit for both individuals and organisations.
